The “AIST Connected Factory Model Lab” was established at the AIST Tokyo Waterfront “Cyber Physical System Research Institute” to promote research on the Smart Factory. Smart Factory is a field in which competition continues throughout the world, but it was difficult to explain its effects and value to Japanese manufacturers in an easy-to-understand manner. Cyber Network created a demonstration exhibition system that visualizes “Smart Factory = Connected factory” in an easy-to-understand manner using IT, sensor, and AR technologies.
